Our Ceremony

We met online which is very modern, but that's not what brought us together. It was our grandparents, and our own self reflection and commitment to living the life we always wanted. We've known each other much longer than the few years we've been together and often say, "we finally found each other." We're so grateful to have this chance in life to be ourselves with a true partner. Anything is possible! Our journey is not just about us but our family unit including Gianna and our dog peanut. We've all committed to a life together through values we decided as a family. We're so grateful for our family of 3 and our extended families coming together to celebrate this union. We're full of love and excitement!

2. What is the weather like in June? Answer: Overall, June is considered an excellent time to visit Rio if you prefer milder weather. Temperature: Daily high temperatures average around 77°F (25°C), while lows are typically around 66°F (19°C). Temperatures rarely fall below 62°F or exceed 85°F. The air is generally less humid than during the summer months.

3. Is June a high tourist time to visit? Answer: June is part of the low tourist season, so you can expect fewer crowds and potentially lower prices on accommodations and flights compared to the peak summer months. June is also known for the vibrant Festa Junina (June Festival), a traditional Brazilian celebration featuring folk dances, bonfires, and regional foods, offering a unique cultural experience.

This is the hotel we stay in when we visit. It is on sand of Ipanema beach. The food and staff are amazing. Please note the rooms may be smaller than American hotel rooms but they are comfortable and the location is perfect.

Arena Ipanema Hotel

This is another hotel we recommend that's walking distance to the Arena hotel and just a couple of short blocks inland from the beach. We strongly suggest the area of these two hotels (Ipanema) due to their safety, and location to attractions and shops. Copacabana is next door and has many more hotels, but higher prices and Copa is more rowdy compared to the Ipanema side.

Travel Recommendations 

This is a must do when visiting Rio. The views are incredible and the ride up and down is unforgettable.

Morro da Urca - Bondinho Pão de Açúcar - Morro da Urca

A wonderful place to explore and see monkeys and other wildlife. The restaurant is also great, but they don't take reservations so put your name in and then explore.

A great beach and a bit quieter than Copacabana.

Ipanmea Beach

Copacabana has everything from volleyball nets, food kiosks and vendors selling anything you forgot. A busier beach than Ipanema.

Personally, you can see this iconic statues from do many places in Rio, I would only do the tour if you want to get up close.

The Santa Teresa Tram (Bondinho) in Rio de Janeiro is&nbsp;a historic yellow tram that offers scenic rides from downtown up to the charming, bohemian Santa Teresa neighborhood, crossing the iconic Arcos da Lapa aqueduct and providing panoramic city views

A time- honored stop for those who are visiting Rio, the historic headquarters is located in the Center. Everyone is enchanted by the architecture, the rosewood-framed Belgian crystal mirrors, the marble-topped tables, the straw chairs, the floor and the skylight.&nbsp;But the highlight, of course, is the menu. Custard pastry, chicken drumstick, walnut tartlets and cappuccino are the most requested.
